Nutria Marina
There are no main roads to get from Livingston to Rio Dulce, so boats run fairly regularly up the river. Despite all being a little hungover the boat trip was amazing, with sheer cliffs and lush rain forest either side.
Stayed in a new hostel outside the main town that Rusty helped sort out for us, an Aussie guy called Jamie was temporarily running it for a mate. It had a couple of big dorms, but was fairly empty. Watched football in the afternoon and then played a description/ memory game with a really friendly couple called Kevin and Claire, Jamie and a slightly odd girl.
The town itself wasnt very nice, but next day before getting the late bus to Flores we did a day trip to a waterfall nearby. Although it took a while to get there and the water was warm and smelt of sulfer we still had fun.
