Luang Prabang, so many places for a hammock.. but no hammock to be found! what the FUCK!

We had this Ultimate idea (Kuningasidea), perhaps inspired by our experience with the motorbikes. We want to see Laos, we want to go into the jungle and we want to be on the Mekong river. As tourphobic as we are why dont we just buy a canoe! Where theres a will theres a way so yesterday we checked out this cute little boat on the other side of the Mekong. We ended up bargaining with its fisherman owner while sipping Lao Lao (the local rice vodka, man it tastes so bad!) and watching him and his friends get drunker.
We actually got a good price off the thing - 1 050 000KIP / 80EUR. Comes with a roof but no motor.
Today we'll go buy it. We also pimped ourselves out with machetes, a fishing rod but no DAMN hammock!
Our route will be from here to at least Vientiane, the capital city, distance an estimated 500km or 7 days at the mercy of the jungle and the Mighty Mekong!
Shanti.. everything will work out just fine.. we hope.
Dont you loved ones lose sleep over us. We'll meet in this world or the next :)
